I was offered nothing in return for the inconvenience. They said they did not have smoking rooms, but turns out they had just recently changed to no smoking rooms, and did not notify customers who booked Smoking rooms until they arrived. They really didn’t seem to care, and brushed it off knowing I couldn’t go to another hotel. I told them the Smoking room was the reason I booked this hotel, already paid in full, and was not able to go to another hotel. Eventually, they told me they added extra characters to my last name in the reservation (PARIS did this, NOT me!) in order to remind themselves to tell me I was not getting the smoking room I booked. After a long time of searching through and showing emails and correspondence through the Caesars App, I showed them enough confirmation and proof that they finally allowed me to check in. I said absolutely not, I booked at Paris, and I even received an email that day reminding me of my stay at PARIS. I was still told I must be at the wrong hotel, and maybe I booked Horseshoe by mistake.
I provided confirmation of my booking and paperwork showing it was paid in full in advance. Upon arrival, I was told I did not have a reservation.
I booked my room in February 2023 for an April 2023 stay.
